Located in a small beach town in Southern New Hampshire, Our first recovery home is a 200 year old farmhouse that offers all the healing elements needed for a successful life that will assist you in loosening the grips of active addiction.
Magnolia House NH is a structured home environment and operates as a family unit, we are based on the social recovery model. Our residents in early recovery often need a safe and secure Recovery Home to acclimate this very unfamiliar lifestyle before heading out into the world.
Once our residents hit 6 months within our program, we begin to lower the structure to get them more acclimated to being able to hurdle life on life’s terms. Example of this would be midnight curfews or no longer to ask for permission to take an overnight if opted. They may even be offered the option to head over to our peer run home where all decisions are made based on house votes but still remain focused on the social recovery model.
We now have axe throwing, horseshoe, corn hole and griddle in a large outdoor designated space and we do outdoor movie nights during the summer.

Magnolia House encourages unity among peers, you must have 28 days of sobriety to join one of our recovery homes, and a curfew is in place to support a healthy lifestyle.
We have random and regular drug testing, and you must attend recovery meetings at nearby locations. We’re also able to help you find employment and have a career development program in place to utilize to gain true experience and paid apprenticeship when applicable until you become certified in a career or trade of your choosing.
We have a no tolerance of drugs or alcohol policy and you must undertake chores, are held accountable, work no less than 32 hours per week and have a heathy recovery focused routine. You do not need a car, we are located strategically within walking distance to all services and job opportunities. All rules and regulations are in place to help you maintain your sobriety and to live a balanced, happy, and healthy life.

Our recovery homes offer those in recovery a fighting chance!
Program fee includes household expenses such as full cable, Wi-Fi, wood for fire-pits and woodstoves, linens, Xbox, Full size beds, no more than (2) people per bedroom and funded programs events we have happening such as camping or skiing.

We have a 2-bedroom apartment that our parents can use 2 nights in a row with their kids per week.
This is set up as a normal and safe living environment to rebuild that family foundation with their kids. Currently we are able to serve 3 families per week.
With our reunification program, our residents are able to utilize skills they’ve learned and slowly re-build that broken family dynamic with their children, through consistency and a predictable safe environment that Magnolia House NH provides at no additional cost.
By doing this we don’t just fix this current generation within that family but also the next generation. The results have been nothing short of miraculous.
